Dear Parents,
A couple of reminders ...
1) Please be vigilent in minimizing the noises
2) Please kindly remind the driver of your vehicle of these important details.
- Arrive by 2:20 p.m. to avoid the traffic peak hours
- Never leave your car unless it is parked in a proper parking spot
- Do not drop-off or pick-up at the first entrance into the building! That slows down the traffic movement. Please be considerate for the others behind you!
- During the pick-up and drip-off peak hours, please turn LEFT to follow the campus circular driveway upon leaving the Fine Arts parking lot to prevent grid-lock.
- If you find yourself in the middle of a grid-lock while in the parking lot, please turn in an empty spot and wait for a few minutes, which should help the situation by enabling some traffic movement.
3) There is a Parent Adivisory Council meeting at 2:40 p.m. in Rm 200 (scheduled in the school\'s calendar).
4) Teachers, I will be available on Feb. 5, 12, and 26 to substitute for one of you so that you can go observe another teacher. Please email me with your request.
See you at school! (In case you have missed Belinda\'s message last week, I have attached it below again for your convenience. To download the related documents, go to www.yinghua.org - Download Files.)
Regards,
Bonnie

Dear YingHua Parents,
PAC is offering 2 unique opportunities for YingHua students this spring.
Information is available at the website as well as contacting PAC representatives.
The first is our Charity Concert in which students may volunteer to perform. This will be held after school on Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Gill Chapel. Volunteer performers, as well as their classmates, collect donations to be given to a school for the homeless children in Beijing. This school provides
education to students who may otherwise not be able to attend school.
Our students have the opportunity to both share their talents with the YingHua community and share their concern for other students around the world. Space for this event is limited so please register early.
The second opportunity is for students to submit their original artwork. The work should express the spirit of YingHua and Chinese language learning. All work will be displayed for the school to enjoy and several of the entries will be awarded prizes. All students who submit work will receive recognition at our commencement. Deadline for submission is Sunday, April 1, 2012 in the school office.
