Dear Parents,The school will open this Sunday March 14 (snow day for Dec. 20).
All CHL classes will hold Winter Term final exams (with the exception of A00).
Sunday will also be the first day of the Daylight Saving Time! Please adjust your clocks/watches and be on time.
1) Next Sunday (Mar.21) we will hold another parenting forum. We will discuss EQ and how to raise an emotionally intelligent child. Every aspect of your parenting practices could impact your child's motivation and discipline in learning Chinese. Come see what you can learn!
2) We will also be holding the annual "YingHua Charity Concert" on Sun. Mar. 21 (next week) after school at the Concert Hall. Please come join the event with your child's fellow classmates (or your child) as the performers! All proceeds and donations go into a fund to sponsor students to stay in school in a high-quality high school in the Guizhou province, one of the poorest province in China. We are currently sponsoring 20 Chinese students. A small donation from you or your child would go a long way! Please stop by Room 200 or have your child to give the donation money to the teacher.
3) Survey for the CSS-MSA Accreditation mid-term review. You will receive in a separate email a survey soon. One of the main objectives for the survey is for the accrediting agent, The Middle State Association of Colleges and School, to gain some knowledge about whether or not YingHua Language School has been adhering to its mission. Stay tuned!
